The Tubing
This may seem a minor detail, but belive us, it is not. A CLEAR FLEX tubing is included in the kit. If you never had one of this in your hands, let us tell you that the difference between this tubing and that made of ordinary PVC is highly noticeable. What is remarkable, along with its great flexibility, is the 3mm thick, when usually is less than 2mm.
As we menitioned before, the flexibility is trully noticeable. And, for those users that are always questioning if the difference really worths, here are some pictures for you to draw the conclusions. It is possible to achieve a greater curve with this tubing, which allows us to reach those places where ordinary tubing will simply crack, as shown in the picture, due to the lack of space for a tighter routing. Notice how the ordinary tubing craks even in a more open curve than the CLEAR FLEX tubing.
Accesories
A special water additive to protect the system from corrosion is also included.
The amount of plastic snap tubing clamps included is more than enough. In case the user wanted to upgrade the installation, “T” and “Y” polypropylene fittings were also included, but if we focus only on the installation of the components, those fittings would not be necessary.
There is no need to say anything about the Arctic Silver 5. This product is widely known to our readers.
