Página 2 de 14 The Wateblock We begin by analyzing the block, that for some unknown reason is what calls the attention of the user most, in spite of not being the only importat part of the kit. As we can predict by the name, this is an old school water block, grooved by channels which are in charge of taking out the heat poduced by the pocessor. We are not dealing here with high speed injectors nor extreme turbulent flows or anything of the sort. This block is very little restrictive, and its working principle is based on the water flow that goes through it. Nowadays, in the era of jets and microchannels it may look rather primitive, but this is not quite so. Every type of water block has different requirements in order to work correctly. Thus, all the system should be related to the different components that integrates it, since a highly restrictive water block with a large flow pump but of a limited pressure would be of no use. The same happens in the opposite direction. What we are trying to explain with all this is that a test of the components as a whole and individually has to be run to form a complete opinion on the kit.
The label ‘Warranty void if removed’ is not a whim. Every Danger Den water block is subject to a 80PSI (5.62 Kg/Cm2) hydraulic test before being commercialized. This assure the water block to be watertight, releasing the user as well as the company of subsequent complications.
